The Cahoot card offers a fairly new security measure for online purchases meant to help reduce online credit card fraud. This new system developed by Orbiscom allows card holders to purchase items over the internet without ever actually submitting your credit card number! You simply go to the Abbey National online banking website, enter your Cahoot debit or credit card details into their system, and then it will generate a unique 16-digit ID number each time you wish to make a purchase online. This ID number is considered �disposable� as you will only use it for this one purchase, and you are even able to set up spending limits for your Cahoot card. As soon as the transaction is finished, the unique 16-digit number becomes invalid, and you've never had to give out your actual credit card number to shop online.
You must be at least 21 years of age to qualify for the Cahoot Visa credit card, be a permanent resident of the UK for a minimum of 3 years and a personal email account.
