With your Egg credit card, you can bring all of your other credit card balances, loans and overdraft balances with high interest rates down to a 0% rate until July 1, 2005. There is no annual fees with the Egg credit card, and the standard APR is 13.9% variable, but if you pay for your purchases in full and on time you will receive 45 days interest free on all of your purchases! You'll receive online account management 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 0.1% cash back on everything you buy.

The Egg offers a relatively low cash advance rate in comparison with other major credit cards. There is a handling fee of 1.25% at the time of the cash withdrawal, and then an APR of 18.3% variable on the cash advance.

Other unique benefits and features of the Egg card include saving money on insurance policies by using your Egg card to pay for them. If you take out a new motor insurance policy, and pay with your Egg card, you'll receive £50 cash back on your Egg card, plus 0% interest for 12 months if you pay for your policy using your Egg card! Also, for Home and Travel insurance you can get a 10% discount if you pay with your Egg Card. You can also opt to purchase the Egg Payment Protection Plan for 79p per £100 of your outstanding balance, to cover up to one tenth of your monthly balance for up to one year if you are unable to work due to accident, sickness or unemployment.
